Dr Adrian WJ Kuah is the founding director of the National University of Singapore Futures Office, which reports directly to the President of NUS. He has been working in the strategic foresight space for the last fifteen years, with previous appointments in the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. He has also had stints in the private sector and the start-up space. Dr Kuah’s interests are in public policy, socio-political and economic dynamics, and complexity science. Dr Kuah’s doctoral training was in economics, but he would like to consider himself a student of different disciplines. He is married with three sons.
