Dr. Kathaleen Reid-Martinez has served as the provost and chief academic officer of Oral Roberts University (ORU) located in Tulsa, Oklahoma since January 2014. She has more than 25 years of higher education experience, including a strong background in academic administration, leadership, technology acquisition, and online education.  Some of her higher education accomplishments include transforming quality control of academic programs, spearheading rapid enrollment, and leading in the acquisition, application, and integration for the advancement of learning.

A highly sought after international leadership speaker and consultant, Dr. Reid-Martinez has lectured on four continents. She continues to focus her academic interests and research in the field of international leadership. Recent presentations have included global and regional leadership training initiatives for leaders in education, business, government, military, and the non-profit sectors in Europe and the Middle East.

Dr. Reid-Martinez received her B.A. in English from the University of Maryland, European Division; a M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Denver; and a Ph.D. in Speech Communication from the University of Denver.
