8 July, Singapore
The Global Educational Leadership Conference (GELC) is an annual event organised by the Academy of Principals (Singapore). The conference is designed for Principals, Vice-Principals, Heads of Departments, Subject Heads, Level Heads and educators who are involved in some form of educational leadership in their school or organisation. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Neither New Nor Normal: Rethinking Educational Leadership’.
The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be more than just a threat to our health—it has become a disruption to our way of life, affecting everything from supply chains, to the way we live, to what is considered essential work. How are we to think about and live amidst this disruption? How should educational institutions respond?
GELC 2022 will explore how COVID-19 has re-shaped educational leadership in Singapore and around the world. It will explore what it means to lead effectively in this age of disruption, how educational leaders can and should seize opportunities and expand possibilities of what schooling and learning can be. Participants will explore with speakers how to design learning in an age of disruption to prepare our young to be resilient and responsive. In such uncertain times, speakers will share what it means to inspire hope in individuals and organisations as well-being takes on a central role.
Join us at GELC 2022 to find out how.
